Ginny Weasley and The Seventh Year at Hogwarts closely parallels Heal The Pain by Aibhinn, upon which this story is based. We had discussed the possibility of writing different aspects of the same story but were unable to reconcile the differences in our two story lines. The driving forces between them are too divergent in that: though we are dealing pretty much with the same factors of change, we are examining those aspects from almost diametrically opposed viewpoints. The reader is invited to consider these two stories as being from parallel but separate universes.
